There was a real buzz in the air as the newly formed U10 Neos took to the pitch for their very first training session. Players arrived full of energy, excitement, and a few nervous smiles, ready to begin what promises to be a fantastic football journey together.
The session focused on fun, teamwork, and getting comfortable with the ball, giving the players a chance to meet their new teammates and coaches in a relaxed and positive environment. Passing drills, small-sided games, and plenty of laughter made for a brilliant first evening.
What stood out most was the attitude from every player. Effort levels were outstanding, encouragement between teammates came naturally, and the team spirit already looks strong. For a brand-new grassroots side, the foundations are clearly being built in the right way.
The coaching team were delighted with the turnout and commitment shown throughout the session. While there is plenty of hard work ahead, the first training session showed exactly what grassroots football is all about — learning new skills, building confidence, making friends, and enjoying the game.
