The SD Vipers started strongly, putting the Legends under early pressure, but the team defended brilliantly, with Tobias outstanding at centre-back. After going 1–0 down, Ollie struck his first goal for the team since joining, coolly levelling the match at 1–1.
In the second half, Alfie produced a superb penalty save to keep the Legends in the game. It was a fantastic all-round team performance — full of hard work, determination, and excellent teamwork from start to finish. Despite the final result, the team can be incredibly proud of their display. Their effort never dropped, their spirit never faded, and they battled right to the final whistle. There were plenty of brilliant moments of play throughout, showing real progress and promise.
With Silent Spectator Weekend in place, support from the sidelines came through claps and positive encouragement only — and the boys certainly responded. An amazing effort from everyone involved.
