An early start for the scorpions today. Kicking off against Foxhall FC, the Scorpions started with a strong foot and despite the sludgy conditions, played an impressive game of football. From the starting whistle it was a game of grit, and both sides were pushing hard. Foxhall were the first to score, and Scorpion’s Bako was quick to respond, effortlessly dribbling past several of the opposition, he placed it firmly in the back of the net and equalled the scores. Defensively the Scorpions side put the work in, Kleo ran non stop, stealing pass after pass. Rami and Tyler kept up constant pressure to force the passes wide. This was such a close game. Back and forth. There were several penalties and free kicks won for both sides. First taken by Foxhall was a goal scored. The 2nd taken by Foxhall saw a magnificent save by the Scorpions keeper Charlie P.
For the Scorpions, Bako delivered a brilliant strike straight into the top right, and Blake sailed it past the keeper into the bottom left :). There were some moments of greatness and moments of frustration. Each player gave their all and showed true determination, an impressive performance by everyone. Well done Scorpions 🦂..
