Todays game got off to a really slow start.
FC Rangers playing a back five didn’t help Scorpions cause.
After fifteen minutes Scorpions settled down and starting playing some football, attack after attack, shots going wide, goalkeeper saving with his feet, it had to come.
Five minutes of constant pressure eventually paid dividends, a shot by Bako was parried, the ball bouncing about between defenders legs before Daniel who had a great game hammered it into the bottom corner of the net.

Football was beginning to flow and a couple of minutes before half time Backo slipped his markers to shoot past FC’s helpless goalkeeper.

After a brief discussion at half time Scorpions went into the second half more determined and confident.
Whilst Tyler kept the centre halves busy, Bako slipped his markers and ran the ball into the net.

(absolutely magnificent today) – playing centre half controlled the ball on the half way line, went down the wing passed one, two, three defenders before a cross to the far post was met by Leighton to pass the ball into the net.

The game was now end to end, FC Rangers had a rasping shot thunder against our bar. Scorpions weren’t happy at that and one final attack saw Bako send a shot into the corner to complete his hattrick.
