YMCA V Scorpions (Qtr Final)
A tough cup match against a team in the Division above.
The first half saw Scorpions dominate possession with good tactical play, putting YMCA under sustained pressure.
Our goals were well executed whilst they varied in the their finish.
Bako placed a shot in the bottom corner 0 – 1
Bako shot from distance against the bar, Assiz out jumping the defence to head in the rebound 0 – 2
Raheem and Assiz combined well on the left before Assiz shot 0 – 3
Bako dominated the centre of the pitch, opening up a gap and sent a thunderous shot from 20yds which their manager stated ” no one was stopping that” 0 – 4.
Just before half time, YMCA ran through to score to Charlie’s right.
Half time 1 – 4.
The second half was pretty even, Blake was commanding at the back with Kleo, Ramy and Layth. Our Wingers Daniel & Noah continued to dominate without further reward.
Just before the end Bako burst through the home defence to complete a hatrick.
