An Early kick off for the U12 Scorpions as they faced F.C Rangers at common edge this morning. Two bright faced teams ready for some Saturday morning football. With just 1 minute and 23 seconds of the match played, Bako scored our first goal with a wonderful strike from the edge of the box into the bottom right corner. F.C Rangers kept their focus and composure and there were some great midfield performances, from both sides. Tyler and rami worked hard to keep the pressure and force the passes out, giving the Scorpions chance to demonstrate a huge improvement on their thrown ins.
Alfie used his speed and agility to secure the Scorpions a second goal. He delivered a precise strike straight over the keepers reach. With half time approaching the F.C Rangers forwards gave our Scorpions a challenge with Goal keeper Charlie P having to make some incredible saves. Defensively, Kleo was impassable, stopping every player that came her way. The Scorpions 3rd goal came just before the half time whistle from Bako, chipped in from the right wing and undetected by the Rangers keeper.
Second half we saw a more relaxed Scorpions team. Goal keeper Charlie H now in nets. Passes were thought out and the team was communicating. A strategic play from the Scorpions saw Noah take the ball straight up the left side, where he struck a magnificent ball and put the Scorpions at 4-0.
F.C Rangers were a solid team, with subs made and players refreshed, the rangers side showed passion. The team work of the Scorpions defence kept them at bay. Incredible speed from Alfie ensured possession landed with Bako, who again did what Bako does and gained himself a hat-trick. ⚽️👏🏻. Final goal of the game was scored by Blake, a well deserved strike firmly in the corner, making his dedication throughout the match pay off.
