A sensational performance yesterday from our U12 Scorpions finishing with a 5-1 victory over the Poulton myrmidons.
Within the first few minutes of kick off, Noah shook off the opposition and landed his first goal of the season, straight past the keeper and into the bottom right corner ⚽️. Incredible! Bako wasted no time, following on with an outstanding run straight into the box and chipped it over the Myrmidons keeper for another sweet goal. The U12 Scorpions showed massive improvement on all areas of the pitch. Rami and Leighton applied fantastic pressure, keeping the Myrmidons in their own half, making it a steal for Bako to come in with his 2nd goal of the match just before half time.
Coming out of half time with the scores at 3-1, it was time for Blake to chase his glory, he showed speed and determination landing a lovely goal from the edge of the box, firmly into the bottom left. With every play the Myrmidons put out our very own Kleo was there to effortlessly defend and take control of the ball. The U12 Scoripons worked hard as a team and every player made a strong effort, Daniel and Tyler ran their socks off and showed the opposition that this team were here to win, making some great passes. Goal keeper Charlie P making astonishing save after save. Final goal was scored by Bako, securing a monumental hatrick, and his 3rd of the season so far ⚽️🏅.
