July was a busy month for our U8 Nemos, as they got ready for the new season.
We have introduced ‘Trainer of the Week’ & ‘Parents Player of the Match’ Trophies, which everyone has their eyes on!
Trainers of the Week for July
V – Our first Trainer of the Week! He listened, tried his hardest, especially in the drills & was always running up to help his team mates in the match at the end. Such a huge HUGE improvement from the boy who sat at the side in his first week of training!
S – Listened really well, didn’t mess around and was always ready for what was happening next. He played really well in the match, always keeping his eye on the ball, getting in space and doing some great battling & defending!
H – Amazing effort, and listened to everything that was said to him. He took guidance onboard & was absolutely smashing the ball in the back of the net at the end of the shooting drill. His confidence has increased so much in the few weeks he has been training with us!
Parents Player for July
S – Really good positioning and worked really well with your team mates to help move the ball up the pitch. An amazing effort
Captain Armband for July
E – Covered every blade of grass during the match. Some excellent defending & when moved upfront, there was some excellent positioning. Really showing us what we have been working on during training!
We also celebrated a birthday in July! We hope you had an amazing birthday E!
