Scorpions started the game quickly putting Elswick under pressure right from the kick off. Several attempts were made and squandered, but the team carried on pressing regardless. A big punt upfield from Elswick was headed on into the box, Elswick shot but Charlie boy saved diving to his right unfortunately for Scorpions the Elswick forward was more alert than our defenders and slotted in the rebound. 0 -1.
The game restarted again Scorpions dominating but the final pass wasn’t happening. Decision made.
Kleo moved from midfield to centre back where she is so comfortable, Blake who was playing magnificent at CH pushed up front it didn’t take long, within a minute Blake had worked his magic scoring from a Bako rebound 1 – 1.
Five minutes to half time looking strong but wasting chances, today’s man of the moment then ran from the hallway line before calmly slotting the ball under the goalkeeper. 2 – 1.
Half Time.
Within a minute of the restart Bako has the ball and slots it into the corner of the net. 3 – 1.
At this point you would expect the opposition to fold but fair play to Elswick they were still playing football and attacking.
After an exchange at the edge of our box Bako placed a ball through for Alfie to run onto and shoot, great shot, great save, but Noah came from nowhere to slot into an empty net. 4 – 1.
15 mins to go, the game is going to and fro. The twins Ramy, Lathe & Kleeo now have the defence solid. Daniel surges down the wing using his speed crosses the ball for Bako to calmly slot into the roof of the net. 5 – 1.
Five minutes left Tyler is getting stuck in Zak is playing some beautiful passes forward and Leighton his chasing the loose balls down with determination, after one of these chases the ball breaks to Bako who waltzes passed four defenders before hammering yhe ball in the net for his hat trick.
